Welcome to Montessori Early Education Taringa.

Firstly, just a quick note. We have change our name from “Montessori Childcare Taringa” to “Montessori Early Education Taringa“. We feel this better reflects the services we provide!

If you would like to join our waitlist, please visit out Parent Login Page.

Our centre is a Long Day Care and Kindergarten centre which offers your child the opportunity to develop at their own pace in a stimulating and caring environment where your child can feel safe and have fun learning.

I have owned and operated the centre for over 13 years and every day you will see me thoroughly enjoying myself as I teach children in the classroom alongside our beautifully natured educators.

To stay up to date with our latest events, you can download a copy of our 2017 Calendar.  And, if you would like to get to know our Montessori Curriculum and activities in more detail, please review our Parent Handbook.

At Montessori Early Education Taringa we tirelessly pursue our three key value areas; safety, intimacy and academics.

We operate between 7.30am and 6:00pm and cater for children from 15 months to 5 years old. We are located at number 5 Woolley Street, Taringa, with plenty of parking in a quiet street.

We cater for 43 children across 3 classrooms and being a small centre, we provide fantastic opportunities for developing close relationships with all children and staff while providing a familiar and intimate environment.

We are a fully approved Long Day Care and Kindergarten providing all eligible families an access to the Child Care Rebates/Subsidies along with access to our Queensland Govt. approved Kindergarten program!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your visit to our website and please feel free to contact our centre at any time on 07 3378 4269 with any enquiries that you may have.

What is Montessori?

If you’re new to the Montessori method of education don’t worry! Many of our parents have never heard of Montessori before and are genuinely impressed with the progress that their children make at our centre.

Please read the Montessori Questions and Answers page to help you with any queries that you may have. In a nutshell, the Montessori method is all about encouraging learning through independent discovery.

The What is Montessori has a link to an article that shows an example of some of the differences between a Montessori classroom and a non-Montessori classroom, as well as some of the activities, tools and environments that our centre’s have developed.
