Dear parents and caregivers,
Due to technical issues we couldn’t post our weekly journals last Friday, our apologies, but on the upside, our pictures are back!
Last week we had a very busy, but fun week. We celebrated the International Children’s Day with a big jumping castle. The children had lots of learning to do last week; they practiced how to take off their pants, how to sit on the toilet, how to tear the toilet paper square by square, and how to wash their hands. Through these activities all children had the opportunity to enhance their fine motor skills and they will be able to practice all this in real life scenarios. We kept learning about the colours through singing a song every morning during our circle time.
During the week the children had the opportunity to enhance their sensorial and fine motor skills through painting and craft activities in the afternoons. We also read topic related books to the children for their language skill development purposes.
We all had a great week, hope you’ve had a lovely weekend !
